Homes were under water in Rising Star, but the hands of Texans on Mission volunteers kept hope afloat in this small West Texas town north of Brownwood.

Texans on Mission Disaster Relief has deployed five teams to respond to widespread flooding in Southeast Texas and has many more lined up to serve in a multi-site relief effort.

Weeks after firefighters contained the largest wildfire in Texas history, Panhandle churches are ministering to their neighbors as they continue recovery and begin rebuilding.

A Texans on Mission team brought water and the gospel to San Martin, Peru, a village on Rio Itaya in recent weeks. “Thank you so much, brothers, for this incredible and kind gesture towards our children, families and community,” said Alexander Tapullima.

Denton Baptist Association is one of our valued partners. DBA recently gave Texans on Mission title to the electronic support trailer, which helps keep disaster relief sites safe and secure.

Storms rolled across Texas, Oklahoma and other parts of the country in recent days, and Texans on Mission Disaster Relief teams are responding. The devastating tornado that hit Sulphur, Okla., has attracted much media attention, and TXM is deploying two chainsaw teams, a temporary roof team, man lift and heavy machinery.

It was great to share in WMU of Texas' Pursue: Annual Meeting and Missions Celebration last weekend. Men and women gathered in Waco to be equipped and encouraged to "make disciples who make disciples."

We are wrapping up Administrative Professionals Week around the country today, and Texans on Mission (TBM) took time to honor these important members of our staff this week.

Royal Ambassadors and others at First Baptist Church in Keller have supported Texans on Mission's Water Impact efforts in Peru, and last week Savion Lee and Mitch Chapman visited the North Texas congregation.

Texans on Mission flood recovery teams are working this week out of First Baptist Church in Kirbyville. The teams are from Ellis County, Rockwall, Nederland and Marble Falls.

Texans on Mission Cabinet Builders were recently in Zwolle, La., helping Aimwell Baptist Church build kitchen and bathroom cabinets for its new Family Life Center.

Participate in our Mother's Day Diaper Drive April 29-May 13 by shopping for diapers to help us reach our goal to collect 150,000 diapers for pregnancy resource and relief centers across Texas.
